A visitor and guide pose at the entrance to Admiral Yamamoto's command bunker in Rabaul. With its magnificent harbor, Rabaul was a Japanese fortress in World War ii, and was the forward headquarters in the South Pacific. It was never taken by the Allies, but bypassed and left to surrender at the end of the war. P1110738
