Coconut palms reach high into the sky in Rabaul

There is something enormously evocative of the Islands in the sight of elegant coconut palms leaning with the wind. They (nearly) always lean anyway (do they go to a leaning-elegantly-academy when they are young?) but when you see and hear the South-East trade win soughing through their fronds, you understand something about the real meaning of "South Seas Paradise".
