One of two Japanese tanks dumped in six or eight meters of water in the DOY lagoon at the end of World War II. Why they were dumped here, nobody knows, but there they lie, a memorial to madness. The coral encrusted tanks are clearly visible from the surface as this photo shows. P1110457
